Frequently Asked Questions
Below are some of the most popular questions that we get asked by our clients. Can’t find what you’re looking for? Our team is always ready to help.
We teach all levels from complete beginners to advanced skiers. Our instructors are certified to teach first-time skiers, intermediate skiers looking to improve technique, and expert skiers seeking to master off-piste and competition skills.
Our instructors mainly speak English and French. We can match you with an instructor who speaks your preferred language.
We accept children from age 4 for private lessons and age 5 for group lessons. For younger children (3-4 years), we offer “snow playground” sessions to familiarise them with snow and basic movements.
We offer various lesson durations:
- Multi-day courses (3-5 days)
- Half-day lessons (3 hours)
- Full-day lessons (6 hours)
Private lessons offer personalized attention and faster progress, ideal for specific skill development. Group lessons (max 8 people) are more economical and provide a social learning environment. Both options are effective for improving your skiing.
While we don’t provide equipment directly, we partner with several local rental shops that offer our students discounted rates. We can help arrange your equipment rental before the lessons begin.
Essential items include:
- Appropriate ski clothing (waterproof jacket and pants)
- Gloves and warm hat
- Goggles or sunglasses
- Sunscreen
- Water bottle
- Lift pass
Lessons continue in most weather conditions except severe storms or dangerous situations. If conditions are unsafe, we’ll reschedule your lesson at no additional cost.
During peak season (December-March), we recommend booking at least 2-3 weeks in advance, especially for private lessons and holiday periods. Off-peak bookings can often be accommodated with shorter notice.
